LISA BEZZINA AND PEMBROKE ATHLETA LADIES CONTINUE TO DOMINATE ROAD RACING

Pembroke Athleta’s Lisa Bezzina has once again demonstrated her supremacy on the road, securing the 10K National Championship title in Ta’ Qali. Lisa crossed the finish line in an impressive 37:27, reclaiming the title she last won in 2023. She was followed by fellow Pembroke athlete Rosalie Borg, who finished in second place with a time of 38:47.

Lisa has been undefeated this season, winning every race in the National Road Running League so far. With just one race remaining, she is on course to be crowned National Road Running League Champion, needing just one more top finish to complete a perfect season.

Meanwhile, the Pembroke Athleta Ladies Team has dominated the club championships from the very start of the season. They will now look to secure their title in the final event—a 5K race on 16th March in Ta’ Qali—where they will formally celebrate their achievement.

Congratulations to all! 🏆👏
